Agent
Jeremy Agness
Jeremy Agness was born and raised in Austin, Texas, where he attended Westlake High School. In 2010, Jeremy went on to attend Colorado State University. He would often return home in the summers to work at the family agency, Lumber Insurance Services.
In 2013, he moved back to Austin and started working for Mobile Loaves and Fishes (MLF). MLF is a non-profit formed to serve food and provide dignity to the homeless and working poor in Austin, Texas. Jeremy specifically worked as a carpenter on the Community First project. Community First is a 30-acre community that houses 250 chronically homeless people in Austin, Texas.
In 2014, Jeremy came on full time at Lumber Insurance Services. Since coming back to the family business, Jeremy has helped to retain and grow the business while furthering his knowledge of the insurance industry.
n 2015, Jeremy along with his father and brother founded Waterloo Insurance in order to diversify and grow the reach of their customer base. Waterloo Insurance specializes in commercial property and casualty insurance in Central Texas.
Jeremy has become involved with the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas (LAT) via Lumber Insurance Services. In high school, Jeremy achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and currently sits on the board of the Austin Chapter of the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA). Jeremy has been a longtime supporter and volunteer at Mobile Loaves and Fishes.
Jeremy is an avid outdoorsman and after a busy week of work, loves to spend his time in the Texas Hill Country at the family ranch on the Willow City Loop.
